Merial Chandler
Office Manager

Merial attended Spokane Community College where she worked towards a Business Administration Associate’s. Merial chose to work in the dental field because of the exciting atmosphere and the amount of new knowledge there is to be learned each day. She has strong expertise in treatment planning for the office. Merial is Dr. López’s second child and her hobbies include cooking fresh and healthy meals, photography, and traveling to tropical locations.

Sabrina Anderson
Patient Care Coordinator

Sabrina attended EWU and received a BA in Business Management and Spanish with a minor is Visual Communication Design. She is a single mom of two who decided to join our team due to the shared values that our company holds to a high standard. Sabrina enjoys patient interactions and provides a great and welcoming experience with everyone on the team. In her free time, Sabrina enjoys reading, drawing, doing puzzles and going on adventures with her little family wherever the opportunity arises.

Melina López
Patient Care Coordinator

Melina is Dr. López’s fourth child and is beginning her freshman year in High School in Fall 2022. She plans on attending Eastern Washington University after she completes High School. Melina’s favorite aspect of working in our dental office is the inviting spirit of our team. She also enjoys learning skills that will last a lifetime. In her free time, Melina loves to play the piano, read, and paint nature scenes. She dreams of going skydiving and visiting Greece one day.

Shannon Pennington, RDH
Dental Hygienist

Over the last 20 years, Shannon has enjoyed treating patients as a dental hygienist. She attended Whitworth and EWU where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Shannon is caring and compassionate with her patients, as she teaches the importance of dental care. In her free time she enjoys paddleboarding, snowboarding, gardening, and playing the piano.

CJ Whitfield, RDH
Dental Hygienist

CJ has been a hygienist since 2016. After graduating from EWU, she went on to earn her Masters in Dental Hygiene. She loves working with patients on their oral health. Outside of the clinical setting, CJ works as an online instructor for EWU and volunteers with the hygiene association. CJ also loves being outdoors, whether it’s kayaking, hiking, or birding.

Abir Haydar, RDA
Dental Assistant

After obtaining her dental assistant certificate, Abir was introduced to the dental field. She is active and likes to learn and grow every day in the field of dentistry. Abir takes pleasure in helping patients relax and overcome their dental fear. When she is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. Abir also enjoys hiking, skiing, and reading.

Tracy Smith, RDA
Dental Assistant

Tracy has been in the dental field for over 30 years, becoming a dental assistant in 1989. She enjoys getting to know and comforting our patients. Tracy is committed to helping patients with their dental health. In her free time, she enjoys camping, fishing, and cooking.
